Hello eveyone and welcome to Kobestarr.com! I guess this is kind of a superblog started by me, a random chap living in the awesome city that is Manchester, England.

The posts on here range will from new songs that I like from bands and artists that may or may not be new to gig and film reviews and those that i'm looking forward to seeing and just random stuff that makes me laugh. There will be no rhyme or reason to anything that that I post about as I like all kinds of music, tv, films, sports and all that jazz. I have had no formal training in any form of journalism or writing and am learning as I go on so expect everything to be quite raw!

I spend most of my time outside of work playing capoeira , the Brazilian martial art made famous by the BBC adverts, as well as heading to gigs and going to the cinema. As well as capoeira I love snowboarding, gymanstics, football, running, mountain biking – just generally being active for fun. If you live near manchester and like snowboarding and skiing  or want to learn get yourself to the Chill FactorE – its superb!

The styles of music that I like are completely random but I will always have time for indie, rock and hip-hop as well as most things with a good beat and rhythm. I'm currently loving a lot of dubstep, 70's afrobeat and tropicalia. Filmwise, my favorite film is Ferris Beullers Day Off, but then whose isn't?
