New Badu! Wahoo! And it’s coool! Erykah Badu is an American soul and R&B singer who has been throwing some fantastic shapes since 1997 with the magnificent Baduizum, which was loved by all that cared to listen including my good self.

Since then she has kicked out about with 5 more albums, none of which had managed to recreate the magic of the first and she duly fell off my radar. The current Mrs Jay Electronica (and former Mrs Andre 3000 and former Ms Common and former Ms D.O.C) is back onto a winner with her latest collection in the form of "New Amerykah (you see what she did there?) Part two: Return of the Ankh", which is definitely worth a listen.
