My man Gil Scott Heron is coming to Manchester! It's hard to read an an article about the GSH without seeing the term "The Godfather of Rap" and it's easy to see why with songs like "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" and "The Bottle".
Before you have watch the video clip below please take a moment to look at the picture to the right. Its quality! I didn't realise that man could grow so much hair…everywhere! I have so many questions that I want to ask the GSH about this. The first would be "Did you just wake up one morning and decide to become a lion or was it part of a competition?" Imagine the static electricity that can be generated! Snootch!
The video is of GSH's most popular song "The Revolution will not be Televised"and is a great intro to his style and should hopefully feature in his UK tour. I'll be disapointed if it isn't.
