Groove Armada are coming back with their new album "Black Light", on 22nd February. Shortly after they will showcase those tunes on the world famous bouncy dancefloor that is The Ritz in Manchester, la la la. Black Light is set to be a darker affair than the previous albums that have included tunes as big as "Superstylin' ", "At the River" and "I See You Baby ".
Groove Armada (i.e. Tom Findlay and Andy Cato) are one of the bands that have eluded me over my gigging career, i've heard nothing but great reports about them live. The problem, however, with acts like GA (also Basement Jaxx) is that the music is made by two dudes with computers and they use guest appearances to bring the songs to life. I don't know if they'll come out with the big guns of Mutya Buena and Jeru the Damaja but I hope is wont stop them playing Song 4 Mutya and Suntoucher.
This single "Paper Romance" features Saint Saviour and Fenech Soler and is due out on the 8th Feb. It will be great to see them come on stage with the Groove!
Holla!
